As you can see by my signature, I have 4 cars, ranging from a 911 to a Honda Minivan. I went through my "buy anything impractical for kids as long as it not a minivan" stage until I realized its my wifes car and she could car less about the minivan stigma. I have owned the Odyssey for 6 years now and it is the most practical car I have. 12 hour vacations with 4 kids and gear for the beach, no problem. Pick up deck furniture at Home Depot, no problem. Drive 500 miles on a tank and a half of gas, no problem. Never has had any major work and is now out of warranty. The nice part is that I don't even care if it's no longer covered.
