I'm looking for more HP and have been advised to first replace the waste gate and bleed valve and look at an after market chip. I was hoping for high 200s HP. Is this achieveable with those bolt on mods and will the engine take it? I got some good info on rennlist but need more!!
With the stock injectors and a 3.0 bar fuel pressure regulator, the most the engine can handle is around 275 hp / 300 ft-lbs at the wheels with the appropriate chip and boost increase (and with the K26/8 turbo from the "S" models). If you want any more power, you need to upgrade the injectors to allow more fuel flow.

A good chip, a 3.0 bar FPR, and dialing up the boost to ~16 PSi should get you into the numbers you want and should do so reliably.
