I managed a 1:15.8 in qualifying but it doesn't could to the class record which is only recorded under race conditions.
Here is Sunday's video.
I made the call to start on Dry's despite the early rain because the local radar (Thanks wunderground.com!!!) showed a letup just as the race would start so I left the dry's on but softened up the front of the car quite a bit and added some wing. I figured I could build up a wide margin and when the rain started back up, I'd be able to hold it.
The serious rain stated at about 15 minutes into the race as you'll see. It got so heavy that they flagged the race about 7-8 minutes early. Lucky they did because it was so slick we basically had to idle around the track. Had anyone gone out on rains they would have owned me in about 2 laps no problem.
My wife said that the instant the heavy rain started the decibels went down across the track instantly.
