Americans are addicted to needless communication. When it's voluntary, (like PPOT), that's ok. But it's on the verge of being out of hand. Half the people out there automatically pull their phone out of their pocket the second they get in the car. Guys run around the airport with their blutooth gaymakers in their ears, scrolling through their contact list, just trying to find someone to call. People hit "reply all" and say "Me too."
