sounds like a few details should have been sorted out already, like the stuck brake light and oil level gauge... what's up with that...
But the important thing is that the car is mechanically sound, and it goes like stink!
did you get kramps in your face from grinning??
Those small electrical gremlins should have been sorted but this way, you have some small things to do yourself, which is very rewarding if you solve them yourself! Maybe the heating problem is a faulty contact or broken blower...
