I am greatly humbled by the work I have seen on this forum. I am worse than all thumbs and a rebuild is more than I am willing to do myself.
I am looking for positive recommendations for a shop to do an engine rebuild on a '79 3.0 litre 911 SC engine in the midwest. Reality say that I should be willing to ship just about anywhere in the 48 states that makes sense, but closer would be better

I'm in the middle of Iowa, and I have found few options for maintenance, let alone something more than routine.
I don't know if this allowed, but thought this thread may be a good place to list positive experiences with shops in other areas as well. If this is the wrong place, please point this newbie in the right direction.
