This seems like a workable idea. Good luck, Kevin.
Why this line: "Though reporters largely greeted his ideas with snickers" ? WTF? Why the constant Costner bashing from the press?
God, I would never want to be famous. For an unlucky few, Lyle Lovett springs to mind, the fourth estate decides to brand you and there is no way to ever get out from under the stigma.
Other famous people can do no wrong, despite serious career missteps. (What was that John Travolta movie where he wore a Ghengis Khan costume?)
For what it's worth, despite what the press want me to believe, I thought Bull Durham, Field of Dreams and Tin Cup were totally enjoyable movies, lighthearted stories with happy endings. WaterWorld was OK, for what it was, never saw The Postman. Costner is not Sir Lawrence Olivier, but he's never said he was. He's just a movie actor, that tries to do more than the average hack. I'm not a fanboy, just tired of the press telling me what to think.
