there's a thread on repairing your existing stalk somewhere in this BBS...might take a bit of time to track it down, tho.
Basically, it comes down to bending the contacts in the turn signal stalk and doing some cleaning. Once you pull the stalk and operate it manually, you will understand...it's a very basic procedure. FWIW, I went ahead and purchased a new stalk just for peace of mind. Solved all of my problems with high and low beams as well as fog lamps.
