you might try some vinyl edging like what's used in boats around compartment doors and lids. you might check a marine supply or boating store. maybe even a canvas/cover shop. it's about 3/8ths wide and 3/16ths thick. it will make a pretty sharp radius but you might have to cut the angles to fit what you need. just go pull a piece of a neighbor's bass boat. if you can't find it, I'could send you some.
