Ouch, friend of mine lived in Cupertino about 10 years ago. 1 bedroom apartment with covered parking 1 mile from his office at Apple was $2000 a month. Most of the friends we visited when I was there where 2 or 3 couples per house depending on the number of bedrooms. Went to a going away party for one guy, he was moving to Tahoe to work for Next. There was already another couple set to move into his bedroom in 900 sq ft 3 bedroom home with no garage.
