Unless you are a good metal or glass guy, forget about 993 rear lights without new quarter panels, bumper and center reflector panel.
All the SC's or anything earlier than '95 that you found on your search have been fitted with the right parts to accept the lights. They have been properly updated. I've never seen an earlier car with just the tail lights of a 993 and no others related updating. It'd look kinda strange IMO.
