Golf is a great game...
I love it...
Good exercise... walking, fresh air, screaming and cursing (good for the lungs)
I tried to learn the game to bond with my dad (he plays every week)
But I suck bad so I lost interest.
Yes it is a big time commitment, but I think more people could benefit from a long walk in the park.
Our society is way too instant gratification, non commitment, non contemplative, IMHO
