Are we talking about a quick peck when saying hello or goodbye? I don't see the big deal.

My mother would never do that, but my dad kisses us right on the lips. I think he only started that a few years ago; I don't remember him doing that when I was a kid, but maybe I just don't remember. Either way, it doesn't phase me, my brothers or any of our wives (who he kisses on the lips too).
