I test drove a 1st gen CTS-V for a friend looking for a new car. It was only a couple years old, owned by an older gentleman and it was still a total ragged out piece-o-crap. He ended up buying an even older M3 that held up much better.
I agree Aston Martins are much better looking but like others wrote, form follows function.
