This was steel, and probably about 2lbs. The wushu competitors use these swords that are like aluminum foil - really light and make noise when you thrust them. The one I was using was stiff and had a sharp point (but no edge). I'm doing various tai chi sword forms, both straight and broadsword.
Titanium would be sweet
