no, you have to use the "correct" weapon. Straight sword for straight sword forms, broadsword for broadsword forms, daggers for that form, Mulan fan for that form (which is totally cool). Plus part of the form is how the weapon balances and a foil wouldn't feel the same. And it certainly wouldn't look as good, and that is a big part of it (especially in wushu).
