Last week, our CEO (HP) was supposed to come to Roseville for a visit, but at the last minute, decided not to show - this is after they completely re-arranged the campus to accommodate all the security, etc. He was flying in a private jet from the bay area to Roseville (HP has it's own airstrip out here)

The unofficial reason being given is that all bay area airspace was shut down due to Obama being in town. I did a google search and couldn't find anything to back this up. I can imaging some airspace restrictions when Air Force One is in the area, but some things don't add up. For one, this wasn't a surprise for either party, so I'm assuming when they filed a flight plan for the private jet, someone would say "sorry, all airspace is going to be closed" or better yet, hop in the limo (it's a 1 1/2-hour drive). Secondly, I can't believe they'd close down that much airspace for that long.

Can anyone provide some insight? People are still talking about this here.
