Webforum profit?
I have a new biz idea and I'm trying to decide whether to give the service for free via a web forum or setup a database and charge.
If you have a mildly visited web forum with no associated sales side (unlike Pelican) how much income would you earn from sponsors/banner ads?
This would be car related info specific to any vehicle so a database such as carfax would be optimal but obviously a larger initial investment in the website, information and data.
Sorry for the vague info but you know how it is.
