I've gotten it a few times. In general, I don't mind it, and they all figure out I don't swing that way. But there was this one time when it went a little too far...
I was cruising through Neiman-Marcus one time and checking out clothes and some guy came up and began looking at clothes on the same rack. I didn't think much of it.
He looked over and said "they got great clothes here." I looked over and nodded with a straight face. He asked me "how are you doing?" I said "fine, thanks, how are you?" and he said "I'm great, where are you from?" I waited a couple seconds, chuckled and said "I'm from here," and moved quickly onto a different part of the store. I started looking at another rack of stuff and next thing I hear is "what are you doing tonight?" SOB had snuck up out of nowhere and that rubbed me the wrong way, so I responded quietly, but with a stern face "hey man, why are you talking to me like you want to fu(k me?" He tried to make me feel bad by saying "jeez, sorry" with a fake apologetic/sarcastic look on his face. I said "yeah, you should be." and he walked away.
