I used to think (A)head and (B)ehind. .
Sorry that I can't help on your heat. . .do you have an external?? I'd suspect thermostats for the coolers if all is mechanically well with the engine.
Ahh. . .you don't have external. . .still it shouldn't be running that hot that fast. My 2.7 doesn't even begin to get close to 180 even on a 90+ day here in Denver until at least an hour of hwy (45 mins in traffic) and I don't have an external (yet) either.
I would recommend that you start a piggy bank for that. Unfortunately my wife is friends with my pig right now.
