they have been absorbed by remington arms. either ILION N.Y. or possibly madison N.C. will be mfg. who knows??????????????????

love their product enough after hearing this crap, i bought today their 1894 CSS stainless lever in .357 and monyana i am picking up a 1894SS stainless in .44 magnum. yep the ol lady is already pissed. what the hell. i dont want a remington made marlin. i want a marlin made by marlin!
these (2) mentioned will keep their big brother mr marlin 45/70 stainless lever 3x4 ELK ASSASSIN happy in the safe.

p.s. you thats right, YOU can buy a winchester lever action now HECHO EN NIPPON (made in japan). saw one today at cabelas. my dad who fought for 5 years in the pacific is rolling over in his grave hearing winchesters/brownings are now made in japan.
