and please..i dont want to topple my feeble "bank". one-man tents seem expensive! anyone sleep with a bivy sack? comfy? the better option?

i need to get to a top of a mountain, end of august..and stay there for a week or so. i'll buy a few extra fuel canisters and use my friend's stove..my lightweight solo type gear is very limited. thanks.
