well i snagged the last known stainless lever .44 mag in this state yesterday early am. was standing at their door when they opened. brought it home, registered via online marlinfirearms.com/warranty and proceeded to tighten everything lube everything.swab bore, lube bore , install sling blah blah. everybody that has hefted these to their eye is impressed. guy at cabelas could find NONE in his entire system.

the fit and finish on these is uber perfect. really really feel good and cant wait to shoot them. picked up some hornaday leverevolution .357 mag and .44 mag. these i hear are great rounds for the pistols also. we used this round on my sons 3x4 elk(45/70) and were very satisfied.

im sure either the .357 or .44 mag will truly be wicked on some errant badger/coyote(mr trickster)/wolverine/skunk/squirrel/booby kitty/chipmonk!

gonna check out and see if any fiberglass stocks made for these. i did the fiberglass on one of my winchesters since i use it to save the wood from my kids wasting the finish.

the shizz ninny hot poo new big bore lever is coming with XS sights and a picatinny rail. we looked at the scope mount (4 screws on receiver) and it will be simple to buy (1) long picatinny rail, cut in half and drill (4) holes and mount to top of receiver and take the other 1/2 and mount to other receiver then mount a ZEISS REFLEX scope on both spoons. mucho lightweight and falls into parameters of .357/.44mag 200 yd limit shots. 9 rds in 44 mag 10 rounds in tube for .357.

these really are sweet.
