[RGCARRERA]

I have just completed a refinish of the fuel tank in an 87 Carrera. There are 3 "Fuel Tank Pads" as Porsche calls them that are mounted on top of the tank under the spare tire to protect the tank from the spare. I have the 3 pads (1 thick and 2 thin) but don't know where to mount them. After looking at hundreds of pictures of cars for sale, reading forum posts and repair manuals, I can't find the answer.

If anybody here has a picture of a late 80's Carrera Fuel tank WITH THE SPARE TIRE REMOVED and the 3 rubber pads in place, I would really appreciate it if you could post it.
