Stock splits add no value to your company. All it does is change the price people have to pay for a tiny sliver of it. Makes the sliver smaller and the price paid smaller, but nothing else changes.
James you can add Google to your list as well. I don't think they have ever had a stock split in admittedly a short timeframe. Although they have mentioned a desire to follow in buffets footsteps. Actually the B shares of Berkshire split big time (like 20:1 I think) when he bought burlington northern.
