Compared to a Marlin or Winchester? Junk.
I assume the Rossi "M92" is a copy of the beloved old Winchester '92. The action on those guns is inherently smoother than the Marlin action. The design just lends itself to that, even if cheaply manufactured.
Stick with American made lever guns. No one does them better.
