I don't percieve the "white hot hue" that Milt does - looks to my eye like the same daylight going into the tube comes out of the tube.
I chose the Optiview in the link you posted. It's a Fesnel lense (like lighthouse lenses) and is brighter than the Vusion model.
I'm glad you posted that link because I wasn't aware of the effect lenses that can be used with either diffuser to warm (more incandescent light-like) and/or soften the light. I just called my salesman and the installer will have them all on his truck, so I can check them all out (they're cheap - $16 and just slip up into the tube before the difuser is put on).
Another thing, that I didn't mention, is the fact that the diffuser I've chosen casts a subtle spectrum which might be bothersome, but the effect lenses kill that effect and the loss of light is supposedly negligable.
