All done. Didn't go for an effect lense; the yellow was too yellow and cut the light level too much. No rainbow spectrum (might be one mid day for an hour or two, dunno yet). I'm happy with the result.
I was wrong about the dia. - it's 14" (their largest circular diffuser).
