These guys here in my area must be the new breed of rocket scientists. This has to be a Darwin award winner. I took it in for an alignment about 2 months ago, well they aligned it alright. It appears that when adjusting the tie rods they decided to do the adjustment at the rack end where it is supposed to be torqued to 36ft lbs. I'm sure you guessed what happend yesterday, right front tie rod came completely off the rack. Luckily it happened at about 2mph, not 70 which is the posted limit on the highway I just pulled off. A huge thank you to the man up stairs for watching over me and the numerous other drivers on central Texas roads. Be warned about this place, and stay away!
