Had a similar situation...Drove me NUTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
CHk -all air connections.
Chk -all ignition contacts--placed on tight.
CHK-your gap.
CHK-your plugs again---I had a hairline fracture in one/hard to see--That was my problem.
Then changed to denso's w24esr-u gap. .032-stock--Never had a problem since then
