Actually, with the way they've changed the rules, they won't finish under caution. If there's a late caution, they just send out the pace car to stop the racecars on the track, clean up the mess, and then go racing again for the last couple laps.
That's one of the problems with NASCAR, IMO. The racers and teams are as competitive as anywhere else in professional motorsports. But the organization is a bit WWFish, with their fabricated close finishes (i.e. mystery "debris" caution with <10 laps to go to bunch up the field).
