+1 on everything Jasper says. I have a 99, when it hit 105K, I dropped the transmission and engine and replaced a bunch of parts. One part was the IMS bearing with the LN upgrade. Others were cam adjuster pads(badly worn), chain guides, all 3 chain adjusters (2 of 3 were scored), water pump, RMS, AOS (air oil separator), clutch. I plan on running this car another 100K. I do everything myself, could not afford it otherwise.
