When I got seperated, my ex-wife took the washer and dryer, which she promptly stored at her parents house! This is 1998, so we're pre-Craigs list days...I found a Washer and Dryer pair for $40. After cleaning our the rat's nest (rat urine is nasty!), and getting 2 belts (another $35), I had a working washer and dryer. Except the dryer squeaked. Well, the bearing was totally shot. I ended up lining the bearing with a special teflon wrap, and ran that dryer for 2 years!
Yeah, I pulled that drum several times!
