911 carrera cruise control

1988 911 blew a fuse and cruise stopped working. Replaced fuse, it worked for a while, then stopped without blowing fuse. Tried to follow "Troubleshooting Auto Speed Control" in tech manual 6.6-1/5, but am confused. Ohm from term 3 of regulator plug to ground gets nothing, term 3 to7 is off scale when using X10 setting on meter, term 11 to ground is off scale, term 6 to ground is off scale. Ignition now on, Voltmeter between 6 & ground is nothing, term 9 with swith up gets nothing, term 8 and moving switch to wheel should be dead and I get meter to go up (not sure how to read true # on calibrations. Term 10 with switch down is nothing. Does anyone know from this info what I need to replace? Thank you in advance. Glenn
You will need to refer to manual to see what they say readings should be & what the problem is when they differ.
