Still having fun forth and back from work
I am however doing some maintenance to the car. One thing I notice, is that some times during engine braking or very light driving it shudders a bit. I've read some things about decel valve, could that be causing it? I am going to change, wires, plugs, oil & do a valve adjustment from the back anyway.
Then to a bit of tuning questions.. I think the sound is a little bit tame. I have a US 3.0 SC engine, with original exhaust in place. I am not intending to drop the CIS or anything, since I will drive the car all year, even wintertime. I'm just looking for a bit more sound and perhaps a few hp more...
Thinking exhaust, filter and maybe some timing changes... Good tips for nice parts to buy and stuff to do with a standard SC engine with CIS in place. What sort of power can one fetch this way?
Anyone swapped in a more modern EFI system on an SC engine? Like Motronic for instance? A lot of sensors has to be mounted and stuff? I have a bit of experience with EFI, since I mounted Haltech e11v2 in my garage on my Maserati single handedly.
