Oil temp goes to 3? what? Maybe oil pressure drops to 3?
Anyway, if you want a "modern" ride, go with the 996. If you want a "classic" ride, go with the 993.
Enjoy your serch and be sure to TEST DRIVE as many examples as you can to get a better feel for what you like.. not what some anonymous posters say.
