When I saw the needle moving I disconnected quickly & saved the meter. Did not know the battery should be disconnected for the ohms check.
Needle doesn't move on X10, but does slightly with X1K with your test so guess the meters ok.
Suprised the manual did not tell me to disconnect battery. They do mention to turn ignition on for voltage checking. I'll recheck tomorrow when the mosquitos aren't as bad & let you know if the manual procedure is more successful. Thanks alot, Glenn
