THEY make money on YOUR money while it is in THEIR accounts! Why should they work to save you money when that would cost them interest? YOU make absolutely ZERO sense!
If you do not keep on them and force the issue, there is absolutely no reason for them to act. Read the rules and regulations around your escrow.
Are you required to have an escrow through them? Can you not complete your own escrow and pay into your own account? I do not know the rules in Maryland...
