Driving home from work today (well, riding shotgun actually), I shot this picture of a billboard that PETA has up on 45 S, southbound just before 610.
Apparently NASA has plans to shoot some monkeys into space to study the effects of the radiation on the monkeys, and PETA is grumpy about it. The thing is that unless you know what NASA is doing, the billboard seems really odd. The only reason that I know is that I looked the billboard up online hoping to find a better picture and found the story.
The camera in my phone sucks, so in case you can't read it, there's a "bloody" NASA logo that says "Nasty". Then the sign reads "NASA: Take a giant leap for Mankind. Stop torturing monkeys."
