What John was referring to is that H4 and H1 headlamp assemblies have lenses available that have focussed patterns particular to UK and 'contennental' markets with left-side steering and right-side steering ... and ALL of them are interchangeable! So, it is possible to have a lens installed for the wrong market, or even for the wrong Bosch headlamp assembly!!! H4 lenses have a large 'H4' cast into the lens ... H1 lenses have no identifying mark, but their upper 'crescent' is plain & clear, whereas the H4 'crescent' is 'beaded' internally.
ps ... Several Pelicanheads have found the wrong lenses in their Bosch headlamp assemblies!!!
