None of the Bosch H1 or H4 headlamp assemblies are USA-spec ... so the USA vs E1 spec is a moot point, here!
The only important issues here concerning replacement lenses are:
1. UK vs European left-hand drive lenses
2. H1 vs H4 lenses installed in the wrong housing
