[JP Noonan]

I'm not trying to be THAT lazy, but I've lost all my bookmarks/favorites and can't seem to track down a starter I got in a trade some time back.

It came in a bucket-o-parts when I bought a 1.7L motor and about 10 cylinder heads from a guy who started a Type-IV 69 912 project. The bucket and a seized bettle trany were thrown in. Anyway the starter sat for awhile until I tested it today, turns fast, gear kicks out fine, no rust, looks to actually be fairly new/rebuilt. Dosen't mate to the Bettle or an old tail shifter 901 I have. The bolt holes are too small and the boss that mates into the hole in the tran, is too big (I think), and it has a fancy heat sheild bolted on to it. My WAG is, it for some water-cooled VW because the +12V cable has the battery terminal still on it. The cable is only about 24" long.
