I'd gotten some hose from NAPA for the same application however, when I turned on the heater a hot rubber smell filled the cabin along with a strange oily coating on the inside of the windshield. The smell is getting less as I use it but it was obnoxious at first. Might've even suffered brrrraain dddamage...
