Having spent a little time in Ann Arbor, I agree that more density would be good. But I also really hate that style of building.

One neighbor of the proposal built a mass model of the project and all of the tiny adjacent homes. He had a whole two minutes to explain it, just like everyone else. It was pretty convincing actually. Made the proposed project look huge and imposing.
The six bedroom apartment/ boarding house/frat house/ unofficial dorm schemes are all terrible for the city and the existing neighborhoods. |
