Problem Solved: I had my local indy bmw shop completely inspect the car. The transmission and drive draft were all fine. It turns out that the Air intake boot was cracked. Every time I hit the accelerator, I would hear a loud whining noise which was air escaping from the intake. My car was burning lean as well. I hope this helps others.
