See, that's what I'm thinking. If I was selling a car for $4k-6k, I would want cash. My wife doesn't think that people expect that.

Why not buy a $3k miata for cash and still have some money left? There are decent ones out there (in terms of getting you around) for that money.

A nice $3k miata is very hard to come by around here. I guess because we have so much sunny, warm weather, they are hard to find.
