I took a tour drive today to Castle Rock park. I did not even take pictures. It is a nice place but after seeing the parks in Oregon it was just OK. Castle Rock is a very big rock, that has stairs built on it. Several hundred steps, and you are at the top. The steps pretty much cover up Castle rock.
The cool part was the trip back. I was passed by a Carrera GT.
I purposely drove slow so I could hear him scream by. I passed a Panamera-S.
There were 135 cars on our trip. They planned ahead with a restaurant that normally has 20 or 30 lunch customers on a Monday lunch. He had a BIG grin with 135 couples for lunch. He has a BIG parking lot and plenty of tables and a buffet line that was tasty. It was a perfect place for the tour lunch. I just hit the free ice cream social, and I think I will take a nap before the LONG Concours banquet tonight. It is scheduled from 7:00 to 10:00 but I bet it takes longer.
