Neat idea but bound to be "typical" modern BMW bikes - ridiculously costly, saddled with WAY too much silly and needless electronic garbage and expensive as all hell to maintain.

Don't get me wrong, there's a certain part of me that LOVES their bikes. I was recently very, VERY tempted by a 1200RS, but I ended up walking away simply because I can't trust all the electronics thingys. I just can't. Beautiful bike though - and rode like a dream. But the thought of all that could go wrong simply scared me off. A bike is no fun when it's in the shop at $150 an hour, and I suspect that could happen PLENTY with one of these.

I love the idea of a 6-cyl though. But make mine carbureated please.
