.....but they were here the day before yesterday!? It was the same person both days. My wife talked to him on Thursday, she gave her name and her telephone number. When he came today, I talked to him and he wanted to know the names of the other people in the house. I politely told him I sent the form in with all the information I was going to give the Census. He said O.K. and left.
When he came to the door the first time he said he was there because the house was reported as vacant. Today I looked at the mess of papers he was carrying and saw the very Census form that I filled out and sent in!
Is this a game they play to try to get the information? are they hoping to intercept different people on different days to try to fill in the pieces? I posted a sign on the inside of the door with instructions for the kids to use the speakeasy and answer any question asked by the workers with "I am a minor, I have to go".
It seems to me like they are fishing. BTW he drives, what must be his own car, straight to my address and straight back out of the neighborhood. I can't be the only one they are coming to see out here.
