You are delusional. Camaro Mustang Challenge and Spec 944 run the same tires and have a similar level of prep (actually the 944s are allowed more suspension mods).
Looking at the times for CMC and Spec 944 the last time they were both at Sears Point on the same day, times for the CMC cars were 4 to 5 seconds a lap faster than the 944s. In fact, the last place qualifier in CMC was 4 seconds faster than the spec 944 pole.
CMC2, where Paul's car would fit, was about 4 seconds a lap faster.
Remember, Sears Point is a technical track, where the higher horsepower of the V8s would not be as big of an advantage.
